We believe in upholding and embracing the dignity and diversity of every people group. The characteristics of each culture and ethnicity around the globe portray a tapestry of beauty that should be celebrated.
Empowerment through Education
We believe that education has the power to transform lives and communities. Literacy for all should be viewed as an initial step. Education should also be more than academic. Training in medical or mechanical skills, for example, can give a community the opportunity to learn how to provide for their own needs long term.
Ownership of Culture and Language
We recognize that culture and language are deeply intertwined, serving as vital expressions of identity and heritage. Through our programs and initiatives, we strive to empower local communities to embrace their culture, language and identity.
